I don't think I've smiled so much whilst editing...EVER. Hanging out with these two was a total joy. Their smiles are infectious and their chat is hysterical... sometimes I think 'is this really my job?!' I'm one lucky lady.
Can't wait to share their wedding day with you next week... look out for it!
Massive thanks to my lovely husband who took the entire week off to allow me to work 9-5 this week... it meant I could finish the edit for these three lovelies :-) Gillian & Raff's vow renewal at the stunning Camellia House at Culzean Castle on the blog very soon.
Sometimes I just 'click' with couples and Lauren & Adam were one of those couples! I felt totally confident in knowing that I could capture the day they way they wanted it to be captured and it felt good knowing that they trusted that I could too. When things work out like that you get a couple who are totally relaxed in front of the camera and a photographer (that be me!) that knows every shots a goodie!
Throw into all that a venue to die for with an airstream trailer parked in the gardens (Balbegno Castle - Lauren's sister found it in VOGUE magazine, check it out!), a stunning bride with a beautiful short 1950's prom style dress, a cheeky groom in a kilt, Film-makers Caroline & Will from CineReportage capturing it all on super8, flowers by the amazingly talented Lisa at Sparrow & Rose and SUNSHINE!! I couldn't have asked for any more. This is most definitely one of my favourite weddings of the year.
