What an amazing way to end my 2013 wedding season... with a fabulous colourful indian/scottish fusion wedding on the hills outside of north Glasgow.

I knew straight away when I met Leena & Chris they were my kind of people... mostly because I wanted every item of furniture, trinket and print in their home! These guys have style and they know how to throw a party.

A transformed village hall made way for a great relaxed ceremony, fab buffet meal and a serious party, it's no wonder the windows were steaming up... the dancefloor was packed!

All in all a great way to start my festivities and a great end to a fab 2013 season.

I absolutely adore these guys. Leena and Chris's pre-wed shoot was one of those shoots that make me want to pinch myself that this is my job! I spent a glorious winter afternoon hanging up the west end of Glasgow with what felt like a couple of mates....I really am very lucky indeed!

There was probably more chat than picture taking too due to sharing Leena's passion for G-Plan furniture and Orla Kiely cake tins! I've even come away with a new appreciation for winter light... wait, did I just say that?!

charlotte + mark • crear

Live in New Zealand, hail from England... where else to get married but Crear in Scotland, obviously! Mark and Charlotte chose Crear because the landscape reminded them so much of their home in New Zealand and what an amazing reason to get married there. A beautiful coming together of family and friends from all over the world made Charlotte & Mark's day pretty special... Charlotte's amazing sage green dress also helped too...simply stunning.

Ahhhhhh and look at the sunshine. This time Scotland really did shine in all it's glory. Speeches (and even some dancing!) were brought outside as the sun was setting and everyone danced into the night in the summer light...dreamy!

Bring back summer!
