Emma & Sam...Stylish Islington soiree!

Everything about this wedding I loved!

From the to-die for flattering re-worked vintage wedding dress (made by friend of the bride and bridesmaid Charlotte from JUNK SHOP, Manchester), the beautiful fascinator made out of a man's tie! (also made by the talented Charlotte at JUNK SHOP), the gorgeous lace flowers that Emma made herself for her shoes the night before! the location, the weather, the people... and of course that it's the wedding of one of my best friends...every detail just made it gorgeous!

It was such an amazing day to photograph and to be part of (I was also a bridesmaid!) and it's been such a joy to photograph and to edit.

The result of the edit is definitely a post of 'less words more pictures' as I just couldn't decide which photos to post. So this is without a doubt my longest blog post to date... enjoy!

365/7 - week twenty - 7inches...and growing!

This week we had our 20-week baby scan. Both Paul and I were so excited about seeing the baby again and were keen to make sure everything was going as it should. Thankfully everything seems to be on track and the little thing is not so little anymore!

Currently sitting at 7-inches (head to rump!) the baby is growing fast... resulting in my belly growing as equally fast! I'm beginning to get used to the bump though and I thankfully look no longer just like the girl who ate all the pies and more like I'm pregnant... you could even say I'm beginning to blossom! :)

Keeping up with the 'fruit of the womb' theme and according to 'Heidi Murkoff', this week my baby is roughly around the length of an average banana!

365/7 - week nineteen - painting by numbers

I'm using these large paper mache numbers for a photo-shoot tomorrow and had to paint them all this week. I managed to not create too much of a mess but it did make me feel a little nostalgic about my days at art school when I'd walk around covered in paint and glue . I think I might have to look out my old artbox.

Mess is good as long as it's a 'creative mess'... yeah?
