Helen & Nic...stunning vintage wedding

UK Wedding Blog

I knew after my first conversation with Helen that Helen and Nic's wedding was going to be special. Everything about the day from the venue, the cars, the description of the dresses...it all just sounded amazing, and I wasn't wrong.

The wedding was in the beautiful town of Callander with the ceremony at the local Kirk followed by the reception at the stunning Roman Camp Hotel. It was a gorgeous setting for the beautiful vintage themed wedding the couple had planned.

Helen had sourced her wedding dress and all the bridesmaid dresses from vintage specialists all over the UK. Choosing every detail herself, from the bridesmaids matching fur jackets, sparkling jewellery, co-ordinated but different dresses and the girls change of head wear for daytime and evening. Helen obviously has an amazing eye and I spent part of the morning convincing her she should offer her services to others! (if you are interested let me know and I'll put you in touch with her...seriously!).

There are quite a few photos in this post as I really found it hard to select only a few to include so these are some of my faves - enjoy!

❤ wedding invites to keep forever ❤

My best friend Emma is getting married at the beginning of May and considering she only got engaged to Sam at New Year she has managed to organise a fab wedding with loads of beautiful details and personal touches.

With help from her husband-to-be, Sam (who created the origami envelopes) and Sam's best man, Oisin (who did all the engraving) they created these stunning wedding invites. I love them. Something I will keep forever as a reminder of my best friends special day. I just can't wait for it to come!

I'm lucky enough to not only be Emma & Sam's photographer for the day... but also one of Emma's bridesmaid's... It's just as well I love a challenge!

{sneak peek} Helen & Nic's vintage affair!

Just a little something to wet your taste buds for Nic & Helen's wedding photos which I will post up on the blog next week... promise to tell you all about it then (it was a vintage-lover's heaven!).
