Laura & Tom's wedding put the cherry on top of a fabulous summer wedding season for me. After days of rain it was looking doubtful if Laura & Tom were going to get the outside garden party style wedding they hoped for... but hooray! In typical Scottish weather tradition, on the last weekend of September, summer arrived for one weekend only and with the sun splitting the trees Laura & Tom wed outside at the stunning Kilbryde Castle. Possibly one of the most stunning brides ever (look at that amazing Matthew Williamson dress!) and the most chilled groom in the world, Laura & Tom had created the perfect day that appeared to just fit perfectly with who they are as a couple. Relaxed, informal... and effortlessly stylish!

When your bride turns up to her wedding in a leather jacket and the groom is wearing a bowler hat, you know it's going to be a good day! Emily & John's family focused wedding was amazing; their little girls Alice & Charlotte were just adorable and their late ceremony and relaxed evening meal, which included the sharing of a 'cog' - a traditional drinking 'vessel' with a traditional (and strong!) concoction of alcohol and spices - ensured that everybody was in good spirits to party the night away.

Throw in some twinkly lights and by god this wedding was pretty darn perfect!

Massive thanks to Neil Thomas Douglas for second shooting with me on the day.

What an amazing way to end my 2013 wedding season... with a fabulous colourful indian/scottish fusion wedding on the hills outside of north Glasgow.

I knew straight away when I met Leena & Chris they were my kind of people... mostly because I wanted every item of furniture, trinket and print in their home! These guys have style and they know how to throw a party.

A transformed village hall made way for a great relaxed ceremony, fab buffet meal and a serious party, it's no wonder the windows were steaming up... the dancefloor was packed!

All in all a great way to start my festivities and a great end to a fab 2013 season.

Massive thanks to Leena & Chris x
