Emma & Sam...Stylish Islington soiree!

Everything about this wedding I loved!

From the to-die for flattering re-worked vintage wedding dress (made by friend of the bride and bridesmaid Charlotte from JUNK SHOP, Manchester), the beautiful fascinator made out of a man's tie! (also made by the talented Charlotte at JUNK SHOP), the gorgeous lace flowers that Emma made herself for her shoes the night before! the location, the weather, the people... and of course that it's the wedding of one of my best friends...every detail just made it gorgeous!

It was such an amazing day to photograph and to be part of (I was also a bridesmaid!) and it's been such a joy to photograph and to edit.

The result of the edit is definitely a post of 'less words more pictures' as I just couldn't decide which photos to post. So this is without a doubt my longest blog post to date... enjoy!

{sneak peek} Emma & Sam's stylish Islington soiree!

If you follow me on twitter or visit my facebook page you'll know that on Saturday I photographed my best friend Emma's wedding . I had to give you a little sneak peek of what's to come...

Since coming back from London yesterday this has been the first time I've had to have a quick look through them all and I just can't wait to start editing.

I am totally over the moon with them. Looking through them has reminded me of what a great day it was and how much I already miss everyone!

Look out for more about Emma & Sam's amazing day and loads more images on the blog very soon!

Helen & Nic...stunning vintage wedding

UK Wedding Blog

I knew after my first conversation with Helen that Helen and Nic's wedding was going to be special. Everything about the day from the venue, the cars, the description of the dresses...it all just sounded amazing, and I wasn't wrong.

The wedding was in the beautiful town of Callander with the ceremony at the local Kirk followed by the reception at the stunning Roman Camp Hotel. It was a gorgeous setting for the beautiful vintage themed wedding the couple had planned.

Helen had sourced her wedding dress and all the bridesmaid dresses from vintage specialists all over the UK. Choosing every detail herself, from the bridesmaids matching fur jackets, sparkling jewellery, co-ordinated but different dresses and the girls change of head wear for daytime and evening. Helen obviously has an amazing eye and I spent part of the morning convincing her she should offer her services to others! (if you are interested let me know and I'll put you in touch with her...seriously!).

There are quite a few photos in this post as I really found it hard to select only a few to include so these are some of my faves - enjoy!
